Updated over 3 weeks ago

It's important to understand how Eedi works for your students and what they can expect when they log in.

Student log-in page: family.eedi.com.

πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» School work page

When students log in, they’ll land on their School Work page. This is their main dashboard where they can see any assignments that have been set by their teacher.

Here, school work is organised into two clear sections:

  • This week’s work πŸ“…
Shows any assignments due this week, so students know what to prioritise.

  • Past work ↩️
Lists any previous assignments. Students can review their quiz results here and complete any outstanding work, even after the due date.

🧭 Topics page

The Topics page is where students can explore and complete work outside of their assigned schoolwork. This page helps students take control of their learning, revisit tricky concepts, or get ahead at their own pace.

At the top, Eedi suggests their next recommended topic, based on what we think will help them improve most.

Below that, students will find a list of topics that form their independent learning pathway. They can scroll through these or use the search bar to find something specific they want to work on.

At the bottom of the page, they'll also find the Question of the Day β€” a quick, low-pressure challenge to keep them thinking and practising regularly.

Completing assignments & topic quizzes ✏️

All topic quizzes and assignments follow a simple, focused format designed to help students learn effectively without distractions. Each quiz is made up of five multiple-choice Diagnostic Questions, carefully designed to uncover and address common misconceptions.

Each assignment or topic quiz consists of five multiple-choice Diagnostic Questions, designed to identify and resolve misconceptions.

How it works:

  1. Check-in Question
Students answer the first Diagnostic Question.

    • Correct β†’ Move to the next question.

    • Incorrect β†’ Receive a helpful hint and try again.

  2. Second Attempt

    • Correct β†’ Continue with the quiz.

    • Incorrect β†’ See an explanation and move to a short lesson.

  3. Lesson
Students complete fluency practice questions to work through the misconception. They write their working out, then answer a similar follow-up question.

  4. Final Attempt

    • Correct β†’ Misconception is resolved; move on.

    • Incorrect β†’ Misconception remains; move to the next question.
