How to navigate your Eedi account and access key features

Updated over a week ago

Whether you’re setting assignments, checking results, or helping resolve tricky misconceptions, Eedi was built to help make your job a little easier.

Let us walk you through your teacher account 👇

Finding your way around 🔎

Use the menu on the left to move between pages. It’s your main hub for navigating the site.

Looking at the right class

At the top of the page, you’ll find a drop-down menu to select the class you’re working with. This filters assignments and student data so you only see what’s relevant.

At the bottom of the drop-down, you’ll find shortcuts to::

  • Add Class – join or create a new class

  • Manage Class – view and edit class details

Home page 🏠

The Home page gives you a quick overview of your classes, showing:

  • Class name and year group

  • Number of students in each class

  • Assignment completion rate (%)

  • Upcoming topics (with a prompt to set work if none is assigned)

  • Total misconceptions resolved

When you filter by a specific class using the drop-down at the top, you’ll see All Time stats for that class, including:

  • Number of assigned quizzes completed

  • Number of Tutor interventions completed

  • Number of Independent quizzes completed

  • Total misconceptions resolved by Eedi, by you, or still needing attention

Plan page 🗓️

Use your Plan page to assign work and track upcoming assignments. Here, you’ll find:

  • A list of assigned topics coming up

  • Start and due dates for each assignment

  • "Prepare" materials offering prerequisite guidance (available for certain quizzes)

  • The option to view assignments in either list or calendar format

To assign new work, click the "+ Set work" button in the top-right:

Check page 📊

Head over to your Check page to review student performance on current or past assignments. You’ll see:

  • A list of all assignments you’ve set

  • Start and due dates for each quiz

  • A completion bar showing completion rate, correct answers, misconceptions resolved, and those unresolved

Click any assignment to explore detailed results, including commonly missed questions, misconceptions, and individual student scores:

Fix page ✅

The Fix page helps you follow up on misconceptions Eedi couldn’t resolve. You’ll find:

  • Assignments with unresolved misconceptions

  • Count of misconceptions you’ve resolved with your students

  • Number of students struggling with those misconceptions

Click a quiz to review specific misconceptions, work through them with your class, and mark them as resolved once addressed.

Students page 🧑‍💻

The Students page lets you track each student’s progress across three sections: Overview, Effort, and Proficiency.

Overview

See a snapshot of overall progress: average completion rate, effort score, and skills mastered. At the top, two boxes highlight students to praise for hard work or support if they need help. Click either box to filter the list:

Effort

Effort scores show how engaged students are, whether they’re thoughtfully working through assignments or rushing answers. These scores help you decide who to check in with and who to celebrate:

Proficiency

Proficiency scores reveal how well students have mastered key skills. Scores update based on recent answers, showing where students are confident or need more practice. You’ll see individual and class scores to help plan support and revision.

Reports page 📈

The Reports page is your go-to place for detailed insights into student, class or school performance. It has four reporting sections:

  • School Reports provide downloadable data for year groups across the whole school, covering growth, diagnostic questions, lessons, coin awards, and routine events.

  • Growth Reports show how your students compare to others in the same year group, with personalised topic recommendations updated every week.

  • Baseline Reports predict your students’ starting scores in hundreds of maths topics, using recent answers and advanced data models. These help you spot potential learning gaps early and plan support. You can view and download these reports from the Students page.

  • Class Reports give detailed, downloadable CSVs on individual student progress, covering the same areas as the School Reports but at a class level.

All these reports work together to help you track progress, identify where students need support, and plan your teaching more effectively.

Settings page ⚙️

The Settings page is where you can manage your Class Settings or School Settings:

  • Class Settings: Update your class name and year group, add or remove students and teachers, invite parents to join, manage MIS syncs and adjust assignment settings.

  • School Settings: Manage classes, view and update details for all students, and access information about all teachers in your school.

This page puts all your management tools in one place, making it easy to keep class and school information accurate and up to date.
