Eedi follows Craig Barton's 4-step pedagogy approach - Diagnose, Resolve, Secure, and Master.

Eedi is built using Diagnostic Questions. The wrong answers are carefully chosen to tease out the most common misconceptions students have about any topic in mathematics. Browse hundreds of quizzes on every maths topic, aligned with White Rose Maths, Mathematics Mastery and the DfE non-statutory guidance. Each quiz consists of five diagnostic questions based on student data from 19,000 schools. Eedi marks each quiz and highlights any problem areas so you know where to focus your time and improve your teaching efficiency.

When a student makes a mistake, Eedi knows why. This means Eedi can tailor the support to give each student the exact help they need. Eedi has a worked example video for each maths skill. Students watch the teacher demonstrate and then answer carefully selected prompts. Finally, students are challenged to complete a similar problem to check their understanding is back on track.

Fluency practice focuses on the key maths skill to help boost students’ confidence and competence. Intelligent practice helps students to think harder about key relationships between questions.
