Using Eedi in the classroom

Discover how to get the most out of Eedi during lesson time

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Whilst you can assign your students quizzes and let them work through these on Eedi, you can also use questions directly in class to spark group discussions and check understanding as a group.

One way you can do this is by presenting a question on the board, giving your students some time to quietly work out their answer, then have them vote as a collective using whiteboards, ABCD cards, or even just fingers!

How to present a question in class

  1. Log in to your Eedi account.

  2. Go to your "Plan" page and click on the "+ Set work" button to view all of our content.

  3. Here we have quizzes for every topic in maths, and every quiz is grouped into a collection to help make it even easier to find what you're after.

You can choose a specific collection to view, or browse through all of our quizzes, across all collections. We also have a filter that lets you search for specific quizzes, choose a subject, etc.

  4. Click on a quiz/question to view all of the materials available for that very topic.

  5. At the top of the question information, click the 3 vertical dots and select "Present to class". This will open the quiz full-screen.

Use the arrows to navigate between questions. By default, answers will be hidden. You can reveal the answers by clicking the "Show answers" button.

When viewing answers, you'll also see each misconception's explanation. You can click on each incorrect answer option to reveal the misconception explanation.
