Updated over 12 months ago

What is the 120 question tracker?

Research shows that completing 120 diagnostic questions (24 quizzes) on Eedi can help students achieve measurable progress on standardised maths assessments πŸš€

Our 120-question tracker is designed to help you easily monitor student progress towards reaching this 120-question target.

Why 120 questions?

In 2023-24, we conducted a year-long independent research study involving nearly 3,000 students across 20 UK schools. The outcome demonstrated that students who complete 120 diagnostic questions (approx. 10 minutes of practice per week) experience maths improvements equivalent to 3-4 months of additional learning.

We introduced this question tracker to help:

  • Track progress toward proven learning outcomes

  • Ensure all students receive the full benefit of Eedi's diagnostic approach

  • Quickly identify classes or students who may need additional encouragement

Where can I find the 120-question tracker?

You'll find the 120-question tracker on your:

Home page

You'll see a section called "Close the attainment gap", which displays the average number of questions answered for all classes/the class you have selected.

You'll also notice a "Questions Answered (Avg)" column in your summary table, giving you your class's individual average count.

Reports page
Within the "Overview" page, you can view individual student progress with the "Questions" column showing each student's question count towards 120.

Which questions count toward the 120?

Only "Check-in" questions are counted toward the 120-question goal. Check-in questions are the 5 multiple-choice diagnostic questions students answer within each topic quiz. These questions are specifically designed to identify misconceptions and provide valuable feedback.
